Ian:

"Yo man! Why don't you leave the poor droid alone for a bit and come over to join the party! Assuming this dream has some basis in reality on a metaphysical level somewhere, life is good! We have a ship, stocks of contraband, and we could open our own touring casino. Let's sit back, sip a few, and enjoy life until we have to face the next round of reality." I muse as I wax somewhat philosohpical.

I pretty much ignore the offer to take the ion gun. I think "pft! This is my dream, my blaster."

Hoping somewhere in the depths of my cerebrum that all isn't so fooled as my conscious, I eat as much food as I can to not only heal myself but also slow the effects of the alcohol.

I stay seated until events force me to make a plan or someone else comes up with an idea.

Pocketing the manefest, I reply to Ian, "The way your drinking that stuff, that could be a long way off." (refering to the next round of reality) I shudder inside at the thought that my survival seems dependant on a space case (who is about to become spacier) and an alien. This feeling is compounded by the realization that the alien will likely prove much more useful than the human. Addressing Jarren, I ask, "So, how do you see our options. We have blasters," I beam a quick look at Ian's blaster with an expression of concern before turning back to Jarren, "We could probably defend ourselves if need be. We might be able to make it to that settlement at dusk. What do you think?"

What I have heard of Jarren's past has sparked my interest. I am thinking that I might be able to probe the protocol droids memory banks for residual information concerning Jarren. [OOC-Star wars equivelent of Disk Docter or unerase, perhaps?] "Safehouses, secret missions…this Jarrard fellow could be a good guy to have around, even if he is an alien," I think to myself. Naturally, I do my best to hide this interest from my companions.

[OOC-This latest butchering of Jarren's name was intentional.]

Jarren:

From the side of the room I call over to the Droid " Hey Tim man, why don't you go over an talk to the ship. Find out what's wrong with it and what we can be fixed and what we need to replace. " I then walk over to the camouflage cover start see about making 3 poncho's out of it.

In reply to Dex I say " As I see it we have the following options. 1) We abandon the ship and it's cargo and ahead for the settlement. 2) We all go to the Settlement and try to get a tow into the settlement. Hoping that in the meantime nobody comes and takes every thing. (I roll my eyes at this one saying to myself That’s is really likely) 3) You go to the city and find someone that will buy the cargo that we have and bring them back here for the exchange. Or get a tow then we can buy the supplies and parts that we need. That is if we plan to fix the ship. Which I think that we should. Or 4) Same as number 3) but we find a buyer for ship also.

I vote for number 3 but I think that you should take Ian with you he'll be doing me no good staying and getting drunker and the walk might do him some good." I shake my head as I say this last part and look over at the Human Ian. I then continue " In the mean time I'll try and fix any systems that I can while you are gone."

I then go back to making the ponchos and wait for Tin man to give me the info that I asked for. I then answer Dex second question." I would go as soon as possible, the more time that save the better. Plus it should only take you a couple of hours at the most to get there."
