Jarren:
Jarren sighs with relief " Lets get the loon back to the ship and get some
sleep ourselves." With that Jarren heads over to the prone form of Ian and
takes his blaster and puts it in his belt. Jarren smiles to himself, liking
the idea of carrying two blasters. He then motion for Dex to take Ian's
other arm and they carry Ian back to the ship. Once back at the ship they
put Ian on a bunk and tell Tin man to wake both Dex and myself up if Ian
should start to wake. With that Jarren nods to Dex and says " Nice job, I'm
going to get some rest, the droid will wake us if he should wake" as an
after thought "Do you think that we should tie him up? " Later Jarren then
lies down on a bunk and falls to sleep.
[OOC Tin man still has instructions to wake Jarren up in the morning.
Jarren's sleep is filled bits and pieces of fragmented images of himself
running through alleys and Narrow Street chasing a young man. Feelings of
excitement course through him as he hunts his prey. Soon he knows that his
prey will tire and slow down and then he will have him.
The scene changes, Jarren is still running through dark alleys and side
street but this time the feeling is different. There is still some
excitement but there is another feeling, one that has a hard edge to it.
Not fear, Jarren knows that fear can cause you to panic and become
indecisive, no not fear but something else. Whatever it was Jarren know
that the tables had turned and now he was someone else's prey.
Jarren wakes from his sleep with a jerk to Tin man's voice informing him
that it is time to wake up (Assuming that nothing else happened in the
night).
Dex:
Dex helps Jarren carry Ian back to the ship, keeping a watchful eye out for any observers. Thinking it just looks like a couple of friends helping their drunken buddy home, he is not too nervous about being detected, but he keeps in eye out just in case. The way he and his compatriots are dressed, they msut be a site to see.
Back at the ship, Dex resopneds the Jarren's question, "I don’t think we need to tie him up, but it might not be a bad idea to try and lock the door with a code that only we know. I do not want to be getting up again tonmight."
If it is possible to rig the door to only open if a given code is entered, Dex will try to do this. Otherwise, he will say goodnight to Jarren and go back to bed. He praqys to the god that he does not even believe in that he will sleep uninterupted for the rest of the night.
In the morning, Dex will look for the opportunity to speak with Coozer alone, though not necessarily in secret. Dex will not do this if he feels that it might be viewed with suspicion. Assuming this is possible, Dex will ask Coozer for any and all information he can give about Joko. Dex will not mind Ian being present for his talk with Coozer, as Dex already knows Ian's disposition toward the contract, but he will not pursue the questioning about Joko if Jarren is present, unless Dex gets the impression that Jarren has no problem with following through with the assasination. He does not want to give Jarren the impression that he is actively taking part in the bargain.
If he is not able to talk to Coozer about Joko, he will still seek to talk to Coozer to try and get to know him a little to create a friendly relationship with him. Once Dex feels that he has schmoozed Coozer sufficiently, he will inform Coozer that the party is a little short of cash, and see if Coozer might want to trade some credits for a pornographic holo. He will also ask Coozer if he has had the chance to look over our ship and see if he has any estimate on how long thte repairs will take.
Dex is trying at every opportunity to gauge Jarren's attitude toward the news he received last night about the contract with Cal.
He is also very anxious to see if a blaster shot to the back cleared Ian's head any.
