Ian:

[OOC: I don't want to waste force points but unforunately Ian will obviously really want to tap into the force to find Joko so I guess the answer is yes]

On his way to find Joko, Ian concentrates really hard onto the force to find Joko. No sense just walking around without a purpose and perchance bumping into the 'target,' as Ian begins to refer to the girl-stealing imaginary thug. Once he is convinced he is on the right track, Ian continues marching onward.

Not to be taken off guard my Joko's henchmen (Ian has rational belief there are any), the dillusional castaway begins to take notice of the shadows real and imaginary. He even uses his "infrared" to peer deep into the alleys and sometimes through homes where he perceives red humanoid signatures eating, relaxing and other private acts that ought not be seen on the outside. Nevertheless, Ian watches and dodges at the slightest spooked rodent or twinge of nerves.

Ian is on high-alert as he begins to stalk his prey.

Jarren:

Jarren whispers to Dex "What the hell do you think he is up to?" after Dex responds Jarren will continue "I'm really starting to dislike this guy. All I want to do is get some very needed sleep but no Ian has to sneak off in the middle of the night half out of his mind. I'm mean look at him waving his hands like some wizard using the mystic powers of the force." Jarren then starts to have a flash back.

His mind is whirling he see himself back in a bar talking to his Jawa informant. "Look, I'll pay you the rest of the money once I find out if the old man really has mystic powers. The last two that you lead me to where just con men……."

Jarren's mind flashes forward, now he is taking to an old man. "No I don't work for the empire, I told you that my elders sent me out looking for a user of the force, and ask him if he would travel back with me to my planet.

We need your help." I hear myself tell the old man. "

No I don't think so, You seem to be more of a hunter then a seeker." The old man waves his hand in front of my face. I see, feel myself go numb. "Do you work for the Empire?" he asks.

"Yes," I hear myself reply in a voice that seems to be devoted of emotion.

"What is your mission?" ask the old man.

"To locate and bring back any user's of the force" I respond.

"How many have you retrieved so far my over confident young fool?"

"Two force adapts that where just starting to use their powers" I heard my voice reply.

"What organization in the empire exactly, do you work for?" asked the old man, his voice seeming to take on a hard edge.

"The Nig…..The Night…..The Nightwra……." I know that I have clasped to the ground. Everything is dark in my vision but I can still here the old man's voice, and there seems to be some amusement there.

"Ahh so my little hunter, you are force-Sensitive. You seem to be hunting that which you are. You just don't realize what you are yet. " "When you awake, young hunter you will know that you have the gift of the force. And what that knowledge you will also know that you are no longer the hunter but the prey. What will you do young one? Will you turn yourself over to you're beloved Empire, or will you run from it. You know what the Empire does to anyone that can use the Force." I hear a sad sigh as I feel the presence of the old man depart."

Jarren is bought out of his flash back as Dex taps him on the shoulder, indicating that it was time to move on.

[OOC: Dex may also have noticed Jarren blank stare. If so I'm thinking that Dex will tap me on the shoulder to snap him out of it.]

Jarren pushes the thoughts from his mind and try to focus on the job at hand. Which is tailing Ian.

Mr. Willit:

Jarren whispers to Dex "What the hell do you think he is up to?"

Dex casually responds, "I have no idea," but Dex begins desperately trying to think of a way of stopping Ian from asking around about Joko (or worse, finding Joko) with out raising Jarren's suspicion, nor alerting Jarren to the bargain with Cal. His exhaustion, however, keeps him from being able to focus on the question. His mind seems to conatantly wander toward fantasies of slumber.

But Dex is painfully aware that if Jarren finds out secondhand about the bargain, at best, Jarren will never trust Dex again, and it could be a lot worse. "I could shoot Ian…Or I could shoot the blue guy," he thinks to himself, but dismisses these ideas as they are the only people on Tattooine that he knows. Not to mention, Dex knows at heart, he's not really a killer. He would much prefer that others do his dirty work. "Man, I wish that stupid twit could have just gone to sleep," Dex silently curses.

He then notices that Jarren is in a trancelike state, and he unwillingly finds himself entertaining the option to shoot Jarren again, but just as quickly dismisses the idea (again.) He shakes Jarren, "Are you OK?" he asks quietly.

Finally, Dex comes to the conclusion that Jarren will very likely find out about the arrangement with Cal before the night is over. "I am going to have to tell him," he decides, but before he can open his mouth, he begins to second guess the decision. There could be serious repercussions to revealing that you are essentially a contract killer. How is Jarren really ever going to trust Dex knowing that he is a contract killer. A normal person would certainly not, though Dex has reason to believe that Jarren does not have the same inhibitions that a normal person might have. Or what if he decides to go to the authorities? Or to Joko? But ultimately, Dex realizes that the repercussion of not telling him are equal or worse than telling him. Dex thinks to himself, "And maybe I can find a way to soften the blow. Jarren does not necessarily need to know the whole truth. Maybe I can give him a piece of the truth, gauge his reaction, and lead him to the truth later."

Finally, Dex whispers to Jarren, "Well, I might have some idea what he is up to. We met a friend of Coozers just outside of town who's girlfriend ran off with this Joko character. Ian suggested that we dispose of Joko for him, and this fellow offered to take care of our ships repairs in exchange. I did not get the impression that this guy would take no for an answerer, and so we find ourselves in a rather grim arrangement. I was hoping we could fill you in on this part of the bargain in the morning, but it seems that Ian is anxious to fulfill our obligation." Dex pauses here briefly, using all his intuition to gauge how Jarren is responding to this information. "I certainly don't think he is approaching this very wisely."

He then waits for Jarrens response.

Jarren:

After hearing Dex's explanation, Jarren quickly realizes that right now Ian has to be stopped. If nothing else just to give him time to think and sleep. Well maybe Sleep and then think about the new information. "Damn, Well we can't let Ian continue with the assassination tonight. None of us are in any conduction to pull off any kind of operation at the moment. I'm not saying that I'm for killing this guy, I just need to sleep and then think about it. But right now we have to stop him" Jarren tells Dex. As Jarren thinks about how the two of them are going to have to subdue Ian A smile crosses his face. "OK, I say lets shoot him." after a pause and seeing the look on Dex's face Jarren quickly add " Set for stun of course. It will be almost as good" With that Jarren readies his blaster and on the count of three fires.
